Making the Spiritual Principle of Compensation Work for You
|
 |
| Thomas and Penelope Pauley's book speaks directly to your
heart and spirit, explaining the Spiritual Principle of Compensation and the Universal Law of Abundance. Their written words provide simple-to-follow instructions to help you access the wealth of the universe. With a proven track record, and scores of testimonials, they believe
that there is enough for everyone and that there is no need for being in want of anything. There is a word of caution, however - be careful what you pray for. The Universe has a way of manifesting exactly what we have created in our own hearts and minds.
In explaining the Principle of Compensation, they explain that wealth is about more
than just money and material gains. We need to see our lives in a more holistic way, and realize that God wants to give us every good thing, including health, loving relationships, clarity of thought, peace, serenity, and an ability to be able to give what is freely given to us just
for the asking. Whatever we have right now is at least partially the result of someone else's efforts with whom we have no relationship. We were the first to receive. And we are never able to give back to the same level that is given to us. In one way or another,
what we give to others without thought or concern for reward is always returned to us ten-fold. This is the Principle of Compensation in action. It starts with the first gift we give to someone else. Those random acts of kindness and senseless acts of beauty are not so
random or senseless when we know what we are looking for.
This is one of the reasons Flat Majic Books and Gifts is in business. Our goal is
to provide books, tools and supplies like this, that address the spiritual, the emotional, the mental, and the physical health and wealth of us all, while addressing those needs in an environment of spiritual, emotional, and mental freedom.
The Pauley's book isn't available at the big chain book stores. It's available on
the internet and local small businesses such as ours. Stop in today and use this coupon to receive 10% off on your copy.

Listen to Positive Talk in the Afternoon

Monday through Friday, from 11:00am to 1:00pm, there is an "Alternative Talk Radio" you can listen to. It's KKNW's "Positive Talk in the Afternoon" with
host Kevin McDonald. Kevin's format, or concept is that he wants to bring helpful, uplifting, healing, and positive talk to his audience, which is growing all the time. Positive Talk follows a program called Contact Talk Radio, and is followed by Lighten Up. All together,
it's six hours of good programming.
Kevin's guests are people who are making a positive difference in the world around them. From Reiki healing to communicating with animals to crisis hotlines, the subjects and
the guests do a lot to improve things rather than complaining about or arguing about or causing mass hysterical controversy.
Flat Majic is going to support Kevin's program by co-sponsoring a feature program about recovery. The segment will include treatment professionals as well as inspiring stories
from people in recovery, and authors of books from time to time.
There is not a single person, we believe, who has not been affected by alcoholism or addiction in one form or another. Our goal is to bring information about recovery to the
airwaves in Seattle. Our hope is that if this effort saves only one, it will have been worth it. Of course we'd really be pleased if this enhances the recovery of those already in a program, and that many will find their way into a program of recovery, whether they are the
alcoholic or addict or not.
If you would like to support this work, please call me at the store, Tuesday through Saturday, from 11:00am to 5:00pm. The number is (206) 244-9537. If you know of an
author, a counselor, a psychologist, a treatment therapist, a doctor, a lawyer, or a recovering alcoholic or addict who might be interested in an interview on the radio, we'd like to hear from you. You can send us an e-mail by following the instructions at the bottom of this page.

| I received a call last week and was asked if I was interested in a new book about recovery from alcoholism. It's title was "Step
One - The Beginning of Recovery", written by Marshall L. and published by Recovery Publishing. I was told that if I was interested, they would send out an advance copy for me to review, and then I could get back to them with an order. I wasn't sure what the book was going to look like, or even what the content would be like, so I accepted the offer. Yesterday (6/24/03) I received the book in the mail. So far I have read two chapters, but I can tell you now that I'm going to order quite a few
copies of this book. It's a soft-cover binding, blue with white lettering on the front, and retails for $8.95. There are 162 pages in total, comprised of 7
chapters, worksheets, and an extensive bibliography in a chapter entitled "Sources". The worksheets are a lot like the workbooks that alcoholics and addicts complete when they are in treatment programs. This is one cool book. Call to reserve your copy now!
Standard shipping fees will apply. We should have our first shipment in
the store just after the July 4th weekend. The first twenty orders will
receive a free aluminum medallion like the one offered for signing up for this
newsletter. |

Look
At This! - This is really late breaking, but I wanted
to get it out here as soon as possible. If you're in the Seattle are on
the 19th of July, get to the Seattle Unity Church to hear Sant Thakar Singh
lecture and teach yoga meditation.
This
isn't all about asanas (posture, position, poses). It's about
meditation. Posture is important, but it is not the purpose. If I can
get away for the day, I sure want to be there.
Maybe
I'll see you there!
